Why Visit?
Penicuik, once the centre of a prosperous paper-making industry and whose modern history began in 1770, is an attractive town set amongst the Pentland Hills
Overview
Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens that give way to panoramic views of the rolling Pentland Hills is the Craigiebield House Hotel. The hotel was originally built in 1824 and so character and charm abound, although a recent refurbishment brings the best in modern, comfortable lodgings.
The accommodation comprises 18 en-suite bedrooms, including three junior suites completed by relaxing Jacuzzi bathtubs. Away from the hotel guests will find the delights of Edinburgh and the majesty of the surrounding Midlothian countryside.
